Something For The Weekend

The band is as busy as ever this weekend. On Saturday 3rd August we’ll be at a new venue for us — the Tyneside Club in Sunny Sheringham: showtime at 8:45pm. Watch out for some raucous rug-cutting.

The very next day, Sunday 4th August in complete contrast we’re at an old favourite of ours, the Bull in Dereham for a relaxed afternoon set starting at 2pm.

And just by way of some advance notice: we’re honoured to be taking part in Attleborough’s Heritage Open Day with a concert at Attleborough Town Hall on Saturday 21 September at 8pm. The event is free but you will need a ticket. To reserve yours, phone Attleborough Town Council on 01953 456194; send an email or follow this link for details. Booking is open now but closes on 6 September!

Post-Pride After Party!

"It's Pride today!" said D. C. last night at the Louis Marchesi. "Me, I'm very proud." Yesterday Norwich became Party Central as Pride hit the city, and there was no better way to end the day than party down with the band at one of our favourite venues. It was packed with revelers until way after we finished, who howled for more even as we were packing up to go home. Don't worry if you missed us - we're back at the Louis on 1 September, 13 October and 8 December. And if you can't wait that long, we have a busy August ahead starting at the Tyneside Club in Sheringham this Saturday, 3 August at 8.45pm, and the next afternoon -- Sunday 4 August, 2pm - at the Bull in Dereham. Follow The Hat!

We Love Louis

Ahoy there music fans! This weekend we're back at the Louis Marchesi in the historic heart of Norwich. We'll be there on Saturday 27th, and showtime is at 9pm. We always get a great reception at the Louis, and give it in return. That's why our latest disc, which you can get for free, was entirely recorded there. See you then for an evening of frenzied and abandoned boogying.

That Was Dereham That Was

The band enjoyed playing three whole sessions at the 2019 Dereham Blues Festival: click here to listen to more than hour of music from two of them -- the King's Head (Thurs 11th July) and DC's Bar (Sun 14th July). Enjoy!

Live, from Dereham!

Here are some snaps of last night's action at the King's Head in Dereham. If you missed it, we're on tonight, Friday 12th July, at the Gemini in Dereham, from 9pm. All part of the Dereham Blues Festival. Pictures by Paul Stearman. He usually does weddings...

D. C. Does Dereham .... Again and Again

It's finally here - the Dereham Blues Festival is fast approaching coming up to the top of the hour, and the D. C. Wilson Band will be appearing not once not twice but three yes three count 'em three times. So there really is no excuse to miss these Festival regulars, who are not only but also the most fun, flamboyant and best-dressed outfit on the circuit.

Show Number One will be at the King's Head at 9pm on Thursday 11th July;

Show the Second will be at the Gemini at 9pm on Friday 12th July (standing in for Mule);

... and finally, Show the Third will be at DC's Bar (no relation) at 2pm on Sunday 14th July.

You know what to do. Get your mojo working, dust off your broom and hike down to the crossroads....
