... at our old stamping ground, the Louis Marchesi in Tombland in the heart of historic Norwich, just opposite the famous Maid's Head Hotel, which has been a hostelrye in continuous use since they had public beheadings (though not in the saloon bar). Doctor G is off on his holidays so Dan Earp will be toting his organ on the night. Come and give him a rousing D. C. cheer! Sunday 1 September 7-10pm.

The Gull Inn at Framingham Pigot, just south of Norwich, is putting on its Beer and Music Festival between 19th and 25th August. We'll be there, naturally, at 8.30pm on Saturday 24th. The same day as the Gull's charity bungee jump. The two events are not connected. Not unless they use Nick's braces.

... get a hat! Now we have a bit of a breather before our next show (18 August at the Gemini in Dereham, 3pm, don't be late) we thought we'd allow an advert from the supplier of the band's hats. We get our hats from City Hats of Norwich, located in the front row on the right in Norwich's historic marketplace. Whether you favour a fedora, are happy with a homburg, would parade in a panama, look sexy in a sombrero or just tote a trilby, City Hats has the headwear for you. City Hats also supplies belts and braces, so your trousers won't fall down while you are admiring your new hat. You're welcome.
